The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: In situ, meteorological, physical, and profile data collected by US DOC; NOAA; NWS; National Data Buoy Center at OceanSITES site T2S165E from 2006-08-25 to 2024-02-27 (NCEI Accession 0130857)
Abstract: In situ, meteorological, physical, and profile oceanographic data were collected, including AIR TEMPERATURE, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, INCOMING SOLAR RADIATION, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, PRECIPITATION RATE, RELATIVE HUMIDITY, SALINITY, SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE, SIGMA-THETA, WATER TEMPERATURE, WIND DIRECTION, and WIND SPEED from moored buoys at the TAO/TRITON 2S 165E (T2S165E) using C-T recorder, CTD - moored CTD, GPS, anemometer, conductivity sensor, meteorological sensor, pressure sensor, pyranometer, radiometer, temperature sensor, and thermistor from 2006-08-25 to 2024-02-27. These data were provided to one of the OceanSITES Data Assembly Centers (DAC). The DAC formatted this information into the OceanSITES file format and passed it on to the Global Data Assembly Centers (GDAC). This dataset includes all of the data that has been provided to NCEI for this site.

OceanSITES is a worldwide system of long-term, open-ocean reference stations measuring dozens of variables and monitoring the full depth of the ocean from air-sea interactions down to the seafloor. It is a network of stations or observatories measuring many aspects of the ocean's surface and water column using, where possible, automated systems with advanced sensors and telecommunications systems, yielding high time resolution, often in real-time, while building a long record.

Supplementary information: Per NDBC request, only the real-time data from this station (file names matching "*_R_*") are archived in this accession. Delayed-mode data are provided by NDBC directly to NCEI for long term archive.

In this accession, NCEI has archived multiple versions of these data. The latest (and best) version of these data has the largest version number.
