Temperature, salinity, meteorological, and other data were collected from bottle casts and other instruments in the Sea of Okhotsk from 7 June 1946 to 10 October 1946. Data were provided by the Hydrometeorological Service of the Soviet Union. Additional funding for digitizing historic data were provided by the Global Ocean Data Archaeology and Rescue (GODAR) project. Physical parameters include temperature and salinity profiles. Meteorological parameters include wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, cloud type, cloud amount, absolute humidity, and sea state. Data are in a comma separated value (.csv) format.
