CTD data were collected during a Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center's Cetacean Research Program's shipboard cetacean survey (Cruise ID OES 06-03). CTD casts were conducted twice daily (sunrise and sunset) along the survey trackline. Casts were made to depths of 500 m.
