This dataset contains conductivity, temperature and depth data R/V Bellows cruise BE-1204 in the DeSoto Canyon from September 29th to October 1st 2011. Census data of coccolith species encountered in the Gulf of Mexico water are included. Samples collected using CTD bottles on September 2011 cruise on the Bellows.

Supplemental Information
Submission Package ID: 3CHLYM
Purpose To evaluate the biological diversity and trophic interactions among organisms ranging from primary producers to apex predators and from the deep-sea benthos to the coast. These data contribute to a food web model used to determine risks to ecosystem structure and function and regional economies following from extreme anthropogenic events (e.g., discharged and background hydrocarbon) and adaptive management strategies.
