This dataset contains documentation for sea surface oceanographic data in netCDF and ASCII formatted files assembled by the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) from thermosalinographs (TSG). The documentation provides information about the detailed AOML QC procedures and flags, designators used at AOML for TSG data files and a list of call signs, ship names, and IMO numbers of all ships that have contributed data to the AOML-TSG dataset.
