Current and temperature data were collected from drifting buoys in the North Atlantic from NOAA Ship MALCOLM BALDRIGE and NOAA Ship RESEARCHER. Data were collected by the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) and the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) from 22 April 1982 to 22 August 1992. Parameters include U components of velocity, V components of velocity, and water temperature.
