Title: Water temperature, salinity, and sound speed collected by CTD from research vessels C-Wolf and Sea Scout in the Gulf of Mexico approaches to Tampa, FL from 2018-10-17 to 2019-03-02 (NCEI Accession 0187861)
Abstract: This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, and sound speed collected/calculated for the OPR-J317-KR-18 project under contract with NOAA. Sea Bird Electronics SBE19plus CTD sensors were used for in-situ measurements through the water column. Casts were conducted at least once a day on board the research vessel Sea Scout and more often as needed. Dual CTD casts were acquired every time on the Sea Scout. For this particular project area, the research vessel C-Wolf collected only one cast; no additional cast was necessary. Data are in ASCII (cnv) format.
